The Focus of Justice Reach
We all too often can look at the picture and statistics of the evil going on in the world and feel overwhelmed and hopeless. And we get stunned, shocked and left in a place of despair… We forget to look at the good that is going on all around, where the triumph of evil is happening. We forget to focus on the hope, change and freedom that can and is being brought to areas of injustice.
Here at Justice Reach we agree with Edmund Burke that “All that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” We are called to do our bit, however small. We can’t stay silent, we must add our voice to the many others around the world speaking into situations of injustice, saying “we will not let evil triumph but will fight and speak up for good to triumph.”
We believe we all can make a difference whoever we are with and wherever we are.
Our focus as a ministry is the vulnerable in our neighbourhoods. The poor, the neglected, the persecuted, the exploited and the abused. They have a voice and we want to help it be heard.
We want to see hope, freedom and life brought to the most vulnerable and hurting in our societies.
Description of Justice Reach
We are a group of people who are passionate about making a lasting difference in our world, by bringing hope and life to vulnerable people and situations of injustice, both locally in New Zealand and internationally. We have a mandate to train, empower, envision, and equip others to make a difference in the world around them too. We currently run a Justice-Focused Discipleship Training School (JDTS) and a foster care support initiative – Ahi Toi Toi Manawa. Come join us and see how you can join with others in seeking justice for the vulnerable and marginalised.
